Irritable Bowel Relief / IBS Relief

Irritable Bowel Syndrome  is a functional disorder of the bowel, which is also known as the large intestine. It is not a disease. It is called a "syndrome" because there are several symptoms within the disorder. IBS may also be called "spastic colon", "spastic colitis", "nervous stomach", or "mucous colitis". The functional part of the condition interferes with the normal movement of food and waste material in the body. If food isn't digested and eliminated properly, toxins and mucous can build up in the intestines. This build up can produce gas, bloating, nausea, diarrhea and/or constipation.

Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome can vary from person to person. One person may have hard stools which cause cramping, and pain when they are finally able to have a bowel movement. Other people have frequent stools that are loose and watery. These people usually get an urgent need to eliminate. And other people rotate irregularly between constipation and diarrhea.

Causes of Irritable Bowel: Very often the "functional" condition is actually being caused by a real problem that can be identified with our stool  test. Some of the causes of IBS which our test can identify are nutritional deficiencies that can contribute to an overgrowth of, leaky gut bacteria, low enzymes, yeast or even food intolerances. We can guide you on how to support an imbalance through a healthy diet and supplement program.

To find IBS relief begin with identifying the imbalance which can cause of IBS.

One cause of Irritable Bowel is an overuse of antibiotics. Antibiotics kill the harmful bacteria and the good bacteria from the body. This can lead to an imbalance in the microflora of the bowel. This imbalance can result in harmful bacteria and yeast overgrowth in the intestines. If the overgrowth is severe, it may cause problems with digestion and absorption of food, which can cause deficiencies of vitamins and minerals- hence a malnourished state of the body!

Note: This is not a diagnostic test to diagnose IBS. It is a stool test to help identify the best protocol to help restore your overall health and wellness. Since Alane works under the medical director and medical doctor at the lab that runs this stool test, she can be your guide to help you feel better.

Identifying a gluten intolerance is another way to find Irritable Bowel relief. If you are trying to find the cause of IBS one thing to look at is your diet. If you are eating foods that your body is intolerant of, they can prevent from being able to feel better. The main foods that can contribute to IBS symptoms ar gluten grains.
